Slazengers were prepared in full for this weeks derby game against local rivals Huddersfield dragons. Huddersfield had a lucky start and was awarded a penalty flick in the first 10 minutes, later in the first half they scored another goal as a result of a short corner. Slazenger's 3rds took on Colne Valley at their new home Mirfield Free Grammer School and it was set to be an interesting battle. The first half was dominated by slazenger's with the defence working hard to keep Colne Valley out of the D. The midfield pushed the ball into slazenger's attacking D, but failed to convert. Top of the table clash this week for Slaz 2s at home hosting Leeds Uni 6s. The match was a close one and could have gone either way with both teams creating chances but not capitalising on them. Slazenger Mens 3's were looking for a good response to their recent defeat to Lincoln and were not disappointed with their efforts against Doncaster.
