THE fourth string grabbed a last gasp victory over Wakefield with a penalty. It was a case of lightening striking twice for unlucky Wakefield, who fell foul of a late goal. Slazenger fifths blend of experience and youth proved successful as they beat Huddersfield Ninths 2-0. Veterand Alan Killey, Steve Wood and Dave Smyth dominated the midfield and it was Wood and his son Christopher who combined for the game's opening goal.
