Slazenger's Mens Veterans team played their first home game of the season against Huddersfield Vets on Sunday. Both teams made a sluggish start to the game, probably due to the wintery conditions. It's a long long time since Slaz played a match without even getting one short corner - however this is what happened at Weetwood on Saturday. Ladies 2nd's had their first win of the season against higher positioned in the league Cleckheaton.
