Slazenger ladies 4th team played a league game against Sheffield Hallam 5. Slaz were strong from the start and controlled the midfield well through excellent play by Hetty Walker. Some changes were created but Slaz was unable to score. In the 30th minute a great attack over the right, got finished with a strong strike from Ingrid Coughtrey to take the lead. Hoping to continue with the flying start to the season the team came out strong and were straight on the attack. Slazengers mens second team travelled to Sheffield Hallam 5's on Saturday looking to record their first win of the new season and did so in style, coming away with a 7-3 victory. Slazengers were quick off the mark and took the lead inside a couple of minutes, Jake Barras with a reverse stick strike following good work from Robin Whawell.
