Slazengers Men’s 2nd team travelled to University of Leeds on Saturday knowing they were facing a team pushing for promotion. As they expected it was a tough match with Leeds uni winning the match 6-2. Slaz managed to hold out for the first twenty minutes but the home side were to strong and were soon 3-0 up going in at half time.The second half started as the first ended with Leeds uni scoring two gaols to make it 5-0. Slazengers mens first team came away from Leeds University Mens thirds on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline. However in a game where Leeds had no short corners compared to Slazengers who had close to double figures, the final score certainly didn't reflect the balance of the game. Leeds enjoyed good spells of possession with Slazengers happy to play on the counter attack and should have taken the lead when Jack Mumford went through only for the Leeds keeper to make a good save.
