Report: 17-11-2012 – Ladies 1st’s (2) vs. (2) Huddersfield Dragons 1st’s
Slazengers were prepared in full for this weeks derby game against local rivals Huddersfield dragons. Huddersfield had a lucky start and was awarded a penalty flick in the first 10 minutes, later in the first half they scored another goal as a result of a short corner. Report: 10-11-2012 – Ladies 1st’s (1) vs. (3) Boston Spa 1st’s
Slazengers were up against Boston spa this week, always a close game between the two teams, but this week Boston got the win. They scored a goal early in the first half, but Slazengers came back strong, with some excellent cross pitch passing by Katie Firth, but Slazengers just couldn't score despite some close chances from Sarah Cooper and Mandy Sowerby. Report: 03-11-2012 – Ladies 1st’s (0) vs. (2) Rotherham 1st’s
Slazenger travelled to Rotherham expecting a hard game but seemed to make it hard for themselves in the first half. Although they didn't allow Rotherham much space for them to settle into their formation, Slaz never really looked like they were going to score. Rotherham were the first to put the ball in the back of the net after being denied several times with some excellent defensive play. Report: 27-10-2012 – Ladies 1st’s (2) vs. (2) Leeds 1st’s
Slazenger were already preparing themselves for a hard game against Leeds who arrived in Horbury with a 3 game unbeaten record and sitting top of the League. It was soon re-enforced that that this was not going to be an easy match for Slaz unlike the previous week!
