Slazengers mens 2nd team started their league campaign against a Harrogate side that went unbeaten throughout the entire of last season and although they were good in patches, eventually went down 6-2. Slazengers welcomed adel to a cold game of hockey but things didn't take long for the two teams to get warmed up. Slazengers went into this game on a good 3-3 result from the previous week. Harrogate got a early goal due to Slazengers lazy start but once they got onto thier stride slazengers dominated possession with help from Mark Swinden and Captain Paul Wiper in midfield. the first goal came from some fluid build up play down the right and a nice finish from Will Copley .
