A fantastic interception from Ivy, followed by a controlled pass back to Emily, helped switch play across the pitch. Wakefield pressed again, but James pulled off a brilliant one-on-one save. Despite sustained pressure and a second Wakefield goal, Slazengers broke away with some lovely link-up play between Scarlett and Heidi. A really good result against strong opposition.
