After a bitter defeat 2 weeks ago and the game cancelled due to the weather last week Slazenger men’s 2nd team were hoping to get back to winning ways with a home game against Lincoln Roses 3s.It was a close match with end-to-end hockey which saw slaz win 3-2. Report: 26-02-2011 – Ladies 1st’s (3) vs (1) Boston Spa 1st’s

This top of the table clash started exciting with Boston Spa scoring from the off in 25 seconds, Slazengers hadn’t even woke up. This goal was trickled through the legs of keeper Eleanor.Slazengers counted this by putting great attacking pressure on with a great run by Claires Mills who slipped the ball to Katie Firth on the penalty spot and she made no doubt in putting it in the back of the net. Report: 26-02-2011 – Mens 1st’s (1) vs (2) Leeds 3rd’s

Slazengers mens first team travelled to Leeds hoping to make it four wins out of four but came away with nothing having gone down 2-1 to a well disciplined Leeds side. Leeds started brightly and took the lead early on after converting a short corner.
