After a disappointing performance last week, Slazenger Hockey Men's 3rd team got back to winning ways with a hard fought victory against promotion seeking Grimsby. Slazengers Mens first team got back to winning ways with a convincing 4-0 victory against promotion hopefulls Ben Rhydding thirds.Slazengers were never really in trouble and soon took the lead when Jack Kitchen converted a short corner with a neat drag flick. After a bitter defeat 2 weeks ago and the game cancelled due to the weather last week Slazenger men’s 2nd team were hoping to get back to winning ways with a home game against Lincoln Roses 3s.It was a close match with end-to-end hockey which saw slaz win 3-2. This top of the table clash started exciting with Boston Spa scoring from the off in 25 seconds, Slazengers hadn’t even woke up. Slazengers mens first team travelled to Leeds hoping to make it four wins out of four but came away with nothing having gone down 2-1 to a well disciplined Leeds side. Leeds started brightly and took the lead early on after converting a short corner.
