Slazengers men’s second team hosted league leaders Chapeltown 3s, in the end losing 4-1. Although the result shows why Chapleltown are top of the league, it was a match of two halves. This was a fixture with an edge, as two ex-Dragons lined up against former team-mates for Slazengers. With a heavy loss the day before slazenger men’s 2nd team were hoping to get a result with a home match against bottom of the league Lincoln 3s. The home side won the match 7-2.Although Lincoln are bottom of the league they took the match to slaz who went behind after 10 minutes of end-to-end hockey.
