The U12 boys made some good progress at their most recent tournament, gelling as a team, with some stand-out performances. We took a full eleven players includng two 'keepers, with a couple more outfielders unavailable this weekend, which bodes well. Three of the boys were at their first ever tournament. Below are the arrangements for the Boys JDC/JAC preparations for West Yorkshire players At all JDC/JAC sessions please ask players not to wear Club Shirts or Socks so that their origins are not publicised. Slazenger Boys U10's travelled to Pocklington School, newly promoted, and ready to make waves in division 2. In the end they proved more than a match. With most players well under 10 years old, they are becoming a force to be rekoned with! Slazenger 4's played well against Airedale 3's in short spells but appeared anxious during the rest of the game. The team managed to play the occasional good passage of play but it was too often interspersed with sloppy play that allowed the opposition to defend deeply and hit the home side on the break. Report: 29-10-2011 – Mens 2nd’s (4) vs. (3) University of Leeds 6th’s
Slazenger men’s 2nd team managed to keep their unbeaten record at home this season with a 4-3 win over University of Leeds 6’s. The match was a close one with some great play created by both teams but was overshadowed by disapline issues, with the match having two yellow cards and a red card. Slaz started off the better team and scored two early goals.
