In a fast paced, end to end thriller, it was the hosts Slazenger who came away with the win. The whistle blew and Slazenger's were on the offensive from the off. The ball was distributed out wide by Katie Brown to a waiting Jess Holland passing it to Gemma Whittam who took it into the D and had a shot on goal. A depleted Slazenger 3rds team travelled away to play top of the league Lincoln 3rd's and despite an incredibly well fought game, were unfortunate to come away with their first loss of the season. (note - it appears Lincoln's 2nds team have folded splitting between the 1's and 3's, So Slazenger were going to have a tough fight on their hands.) Slazenger Men’s 2nd Team lost at home to Hull University 6-5 in a thriller of a match. Hull opened the scoring with a goal within two minutes of push back, this made slaz wake up and were soon pilling the pressure on Hull and were soon on level term. Slaz 1st travelled to Leeds to play Ramgarhia 1st team. Both teams set off with a clear intent to gain the upper hand, slaz swung the ball round the pitch meeting a packed out defence, whilst Ramgarhia locked their D tight with men and hit slaz on the break with few in numbers with aerial balls.
