Slazenger would have taken a point at the start of the match against high-flying York, but were ultimately dissapointed having let a three-goal lead slip away. In a highly entertaining match between two evenly matched sides - Slazenger thirds and visitors City of York fifths a 1-1 draw was probably the fairest result. Slazenger moved the ball round nicely in the first half against York and had the best chance of the game, but failed to make it count.
