A great last tournament for the U12 boys in Leeds this last Sunday 18th March. A larger than normal squad took to the last tournament with gusto. Slazenger (3) vs. (0) Huddersfield Dragons Playing Huddersfield Dragons first the boys had too much for them in all departments. Kian was first in goals with a small shuffle around as Harry Gunning called in sick at the last moment. Ryan dominated midfield as usual and played the ball through to Matthew Chilton with Matthew worked well up front and … [Read more...] about Report: 18-03-2012 – Boys U12′s Tournament

0-0 draw against Northallerton 2-0 win against Leeds 1-0 win against Halifax 3-0 loss against Ben Rhydding 2-0 loss against York The U12s girls had a productive day with a goalless draw against Northallerton, getting the ball high and creating pressure on it. The Team: Emillie Ritchey (GK); Katie Minchella; Harry Buttery; Nick Calderley; Sebastian Lister; Ryan Denton. Slaz 2 v Airedale B 2 We got off to a shakey start when we conceded 2 goals quickly in the first half despite 2 good chances by Ryan and Nick. The defence just couldn't make it back and Emillie was left to defend 2 attackers. However the guys settled into their positions in the second half and seemed to stay more in position and use the space well. A long corner from Nick in … [Read more...] about Report: 2009-12-06 – Boys U10’s at Pocklington
