Slazengers visited Wakefield at College Grove on Sunday. With a change in line up from recent weeks, Slazengers gave Claire Dunstan a run out who managed to score the opening goal for Slazengers building their confidence which led to another goal shortly afterwards. Slazengers mens 4th team faced up against Wakefield and hoped to record a double over their local rivals after a 3-1 win earlier in the season. Sunday saw Slazenger Mens 4th's taking on Wakefield 5th's in the second round of the cup. The home team looked the underdogs going into the game, with Wakefield placed high in the division above. The game was a lot closer affair, with a possession well split between the two teams. Slazengers held out on strong form towards the start of the game with a formation change. Plenty of opportunity saw the crowd cheering for the home side but unfortunately left the score at 2-0.
