Slazenger Boys U10's continued their unbeaten start to the Yorkshire Youth Hockey Association's six-a-side competition with four more wins from games played at Outwood Grange College on Sunday. Slazenger played some good passing hockey and showed signs they were starting to gel as they competed in their third tournament of the season in Harrogate. Despite losing the opening game 3-0 against Rotherham, Slaz hit back with a battling 1-1 draw against Thirsk , thanks to a Jake Barras goal. Slazenger seconds produced a fine display to see off Rotherham thirds. But the Horbury club were still left dissapointed by the fact that this was only a friendly as they could certainly have used the three league points they would have won.
