Slazenger played some good passing hockey and showed signs they were starting to gel as they competed in their third tournament of the season in Harrogate.
Despite losing the opening game 3-0 against Rotherham, Slaz hit back with a battling 1-1 draw against Thirsk , thanks to a Jake Barras goal.
The final game against Harrogate saw changes aplenty at both ends, but it was the hosts who took theirs to earn a 3-1 victory, despite the best defensive efforts of Kerry Rollin and Danny Perry.
