Slaz were facing a team with three points of them and near the relegation zone, this was a big match to keep clear of the fight for the bottom spots. Slazengers mens 2nd team travelled to Leeds on Saturday looking to make it 2 wins in 2 since the Christmas break and did exactly that with a well deserved 3-2 victory. Slazenger Mens 3's had tough opposition in Brigg 3's for their latest match in Yorkshire division 5. Earlier in the year Brigg had given the Horbury side a bit of a hockey lesson in the repeat fixture. After a slightly late start on a cold day Slazengers were straight on the attack with a short corner awarded within the first minute.
