Slazenger men’s 2nd team managed to keep their unbeaten record at home this season with a 4-3 win over University of Leeds 6’s. The match was a close one with some great play created by both teams but was overshadowed by disapline issues, with the match having two yellow cards and a red card. Slaz started off with some good work rate but Normanby Park pilled on the pressure and pinned Slaz in their own half. Slaz failed to compose and Normanby Park fired one in. After a fast and furious game, the team came away with a solid draw, in a 6 goal thriller. Slazenger men's 3rds breezed through the away quarter final cup encounter with Rotherham 4ths, beating them 6-1. Rotherham, who had been unbeaten in cup encounters for 3 years struggled to keep pace with a fast and fluid Slazenger side.
