Slazenger fifths got back into the winning groove by recording a 5-2 success over Adel sevenths. At times Slazenger struggled to find their true rhythm but when they did get their passing game together they were rewarded with goals by Keith Hellam (2). Slazenger seconds recorded a fine 4-1 victory over Doncaster fourths. A superb strike from man of the match Mark Swinden set the standard.
