Slaz men's 2nds continued their great run of form with a win over the Worksop 2nds, new to the Yorkshire league. However it was Worksop who started the quickest with some quick passing play which put slaz under pressure for first 10 minutes. After a minutes silence for former player and club steward Bob France, who died in the week, Slazengers started their match against Hull in good form, dominating possession in the middle of the park and using the full width of the pitch to stretch the opposition. Slaz got off to a slow start, not playing as well as usual, and were punished as Leeds scored 2. This early concession woke up the visiting team, who promptly began to get to work. Some stronger, more fluid passing set up Daz Buttery, to get a goal back. Slaz continued to improve and as the first half went on, Buttery netted a second, drawing the scores level. After a postponment last week Slazengers 5ths were keen to get into there match against Rotherham away at the Aurora stadium. However they certainly didn't have things their own way. Slaz arrived at Sheffield to a wet foggy pitch, both teams applied good pressure to get the ball back and when they had the ball moved it around well.
