Slazengers Mens 2nd team travelled to Sheffield Uni Bankers knowing that they were in for a tough game following some good results for Bankers in previous weeks. Slazenger 3's expected a tough game this weekend after the reverse fixture earlier in the season against Adel, had resulted in a tough, hard fought scoreless draw. On 15th February Slazengers 5ths Mens Development team travelled to Keighley to play Airedale. A lot of pressure had to be soaked up in the first 10 minutes of the match but the defence and midfield kept any shots on goal to a minimum. Slaz got off to a slow start and Normanby pressed slaz well, but Slaz were able to shine in parts of the pitch, with good ball control and distribution from Adam Drake and Isaac Fisher. After recording victories over the top two teams in the league in the previous weeks, Slazengers mens 2nd team were brought back down to earth by a strong Hull side, eventually losing 4-3.
