With a better start to the game Slazengers got a reasonably quick goal. But before half time both teams had scored leaving it 2-1 at held time. Slazenger's Boys U10's had a successful Sunday. The "A" team were promoted into the top Division 1, the first time in several years. The "B" team, made mostly of younger players (some only 6 years old!) had a great competition, but struggled to score! Slaz were off to a flying start and pressured Leeds in every part of the pitch powering through and showing they meant business. Slazengers mens 2nd team kicked off their league campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds 5th's but in reality will be disappointed not to take all three points.
