Slazengers started out very positive with excellent distribution from Frankie Tyrell and Sarah Hobbs but were unable to connect with the back board. Hull continued to turn up the heat and scored 2 goals from a short corner and rigorous game play. Opened up game play extremely strong providing Huddersfield Dragons a difficult challenge. Shots on goal were unfortunately saved - with some hitting the post causing frustration. Pressing forward Dragons were able to score twice before Slazengers eventually connected with the back board after a fantastic strike at a difficult angle from Helen Hough. Slazenger turned out to play Leeds Ladies for their final home game this season with a new Captain, a new formation and a couple of players who really made a difference to the squad. After their last meeting away at Adel where four goals were scored in the first half alone, to say that Slazenger started as the underdogs in this match was an understatement!
