Slazengers mens 2nd team bounced back from successive defeats with a comprehensive 8-0 home victory over Chapeltown mens 3rds. A mix up with goalkeepers prior to the start meant that forward Jack Mumford donned the pads for the game and will have been upset to miss out on adding to his goal tally for the season. Slazenger's Boys U10's had a successful Sunday. The "A" team were promoted into the top Division 1, the first time in several years. The "B" team, made mostly of younger players (some only 6 years old!) had a great competition, but struggled to score! Slazenger continued their great start to the season with their first home victory helped by the return of 5 key players. This time Slaz started strongly and after 14 minutes hard work were rewarded by their first goal as Katie Browne calmly slotted the ball through the legs of the Doncaster keeper.
