Slazengers Mens 2nd team travelled to Sheffield Uni Bankers knowing that they were in for a tough game following some good results for Bankers in previous weeks. Bankers started the game well, passing the ball with confidence, attacking the Slazengers 'd' and creating chances. Slazenger 3's expected a tough game this weekend after the reverse fixture earlier in the season against Adel, had resulted in a tough, hard fought scoreless draw. On 15th February Slazengers 5ths Mens Development team travelled to Keighley to play Airedale. A lot of pressure had to be soaked up in the first 10 minutes of the match but the defence and midfield kept any shots on goal to a minimum. Slazenger went to Halifax looking to avenge their 0-6 home loss. They looked like a completely different side as they proceeded to take a 2-0 lead much to the delight of the Slaz spectators who had travelled to support.
