After a game slaz should have won last week they were hoping for a good result from a home match against Leeds 5s. This was not the case and slaz lost 3-0 to a strong, skilful team. The first half started well for both teams creating chances and resulting in end-to-end hockey. The good run of play for slaz ended with an injury and then a goal against them. Slazenger 3rd's game against top of the table Sheffield Hallam got off to a flying start when Man of the Match, Ste Johnson scored within the first minute of the game. Slazenger's mens first team made it three wins out of three with a hard faught 1-0 victory away at Brigg seconds last Saturday. Slazengers had the majority of the possession in the first half and went close on a number of occassions only to be denied by the Brigg keeper.
