It was another frustrating game for Slazenger Ladies 4′s away at Rotherham on Saturday. After having a few rough weeks, they went in positive and were hopeful to get a good result. Slazenger's Boys U10's had a successful Sunday. The "A" team were promoted into the top Division 1, the first time in several years. The "B" team, made mostly of younger players (some only 6 years old!) had a great competition, but struggled to score! Slazenger 0 - 0 Ben Rhydding A The boys enjoyed most of the attacking play and were unlucky not to have scored on several occassions. What was most encouraging is that the Ben Rhydding attack never really presented any danger with keeper Ralph Toon seeing very little action. After defeat in their first league game Slaz 3s were hungry for a win and came away from Pickering with an impressive 7-3 win. The ladies started strong with player of the match Frankie Tyrrell in her new central role holding and distributing well and pushing forward to take Slaz into the lead in the 5th minute.
