Slazenger Under 10s Boys Hockey at Weetwood 02.03.14 Slazengers v Ben Rhydding 0-3 BR set off with an early lead with an impressive fast and direct shot at the goal. This unfortunately set the scene for the remainder of the game with Slazenger on permanent defence. Slazenger struggled to make any breaks through with the team looking a little disjointed. Halifax put the pressure on as they were top of league.  They were physical, forced play and slaz began to make mistakes.  Halifax broke through the D and rocketed a vertical reverse stick into the top of the net. Report: 01-03-2014 – Mens 2nd’s vs. Sheffield Hallam 6th’s

Slazengers Mens 2's welcomed league leaders and promotion favourites Sheffield Hallam Mens 6th team on Saturday and came out with a well deserved 5-2 victory. Hallam would have expected an easier time having comfortably beat Slazengers earlier in the season however is was Slazengers who came out on top. Slazenger Mens 3's latest match away against top of the table Hull University looked a tough proposition on paper and so it proved to be. Slazengers started well and worked hard looking to deny the opposition time and space on the ball.
