Slazenger Thirds were well-beaten by Yorkshire League 6 hosts Bradford University Seconds, 5-1. Slazenger U14's enjoyed mixed fortunes in their games against Leeds, Rotherham and Bradford but there were a number of fine performers. The side beat Leeds 4-0 with Rich Hutchins, Gareth Preston and Ester Hill outstanding with some fin teamwork from Laura Simmons and Laura Teasdale on the right wing. Slazenger thirds took another giant stride up the Yorkshire League Division 6 with a narrow 2-1 victory away at local rivals Huddersfield thirds. Depleted Slazenger were ultimately beaten by a three-goal second-half blast from Stockton in division 2 of the Northern Counties League.
