Slazenger firsts drew 1-1 with third placed Sheffield Bankers. Sheffield set off well with strong play in midfield, but Slaz’ giving as good as they got created the better chances with great linking play from Mark and James Swindon, Mike Thornicroft and Richard Hutchins. Slazenger’s seconds took a hard fought point off an experienced Doncaster side but will be disappointed not to take all three. The Horbury side started brightly and used their pace to attack Doncaster down both flanks creating a number of chances only to be thwarted by the visiting keeper. Slazenger’s seconds followed on from their great result last week with another solid victory against highly placed Ben Rhydding thirds. Slazenger's have a new found confidence and this showed straight from the off, the whole team linking up well to create a number of chances with Neil Croucher at the centre of much of the play.
