Slazenger Mens 3rd's took to the field Saturday, successfully securing the 3rd win of the day for Slazenger Hockey Club. It was a closely contested game, which started at a brisk pace. After only being able to grab a point at Lincoln Slazengers men’s 2nd team were hoping to get back to winning ways with a home match against Scunthorpe 1st team. Report: 22-01-2011 – Mens 2nd’s (1) vs (1) Lincoln 3rd’s
After a good home win last week Slazenger men’s 2nd team were looking to go to Lincoln and get a result but only managed a 1-1 draw. The home side went ahead only a couple of minutes after the start with a well worked quick goal fed from midfield which split slazengers defence and was slotted passed the keeper.
