Slazengers Ladies 2nds travelled away to a much changed and stronger Sheffield University Bankers side this weekend and were unfortunate to come away with a 2-0 loss. Sheffield started strong and soon scored although Slazengers kept their heads high and battled on with some good breaks from midfielders Frankie Tyrell and Stacey Binns setting up strong attacks with Elle Poskett. Report: 12-02-2011 – Ladies 1st’s (4) vs (0) Leeds 1st’s

Slazengers knew that this would be a tight game with Leeds in the top half of the table and with them being a very physical side. Slazengers pressed the Leeds defence from the off with a few near misses with Ailish Hendry hitting the post from a very skilful Tomohawk reverse.
