The ladies 1st team travelled to a very windy Don Valley for the 1st game of the New Year. Slaz had a score to settle after being held by Don Valley to a 2-2 draw in our first game of the season. Slazenger mens 1st's were the only team to play on Saturday, with all other matches being cancelled due to the frost. However, the team did not dissapoint, logging a 3-0 victory over table strugglers Brigg 2nd's. The game was swift with plenty of end to end hockey, and fast passing moves, Slaz started confidently on a very cold day, against the Brigg side. It was back to business for Slazenger’s after the festive season and they didn’t fail to disappoint.
