The ladies 4th team travelled for a floodlit game to York. It was an evenly matched start, till York managed to take control and kept Slaz on the defensive. Slaz set off with determination and moved the ball well keeping possession and creating good chances in the D. Isaac fisher claimed the first within minutes. Slazenger Mens 2nds put an end to a historic undefeated run at Lincoln Roses 3rd's. The team had been undefeated at home for 7 years, and with Slaz travelling out to Lincoln with a bare 11, things did not look promising. Slazenger Men's 3's unbeaten start to the season came to an abrupt end with a 2-1 defeat to visitors Lincoln. The visitors started much more brightly with more energy and greater intent when in possession. Mens 4th team travelled away to Rotherham for their first game of the weekend. Slaz travelled with a slightly weakened side, with several missing members. However the biggest problem proved not to be the lack of numbers, but some impressive goalkeeping from the opposition keeper.
