Slazengers Mens 2nd team found themselves travelling to Tadcaster on Saturday for a 10.30am push and with a number of players suffering from Christmas parties the previous evening, found themselves 4-0 down at half time. The first game back after the Christmas break saw Slazengers ladies 3s take on Tadcaster Magnets 2s in an early afternoon home fixture. It was the third game of the season for Slazengers Ladies 3s and along with it came their first point of the season against a newly promoted Tadcaster side. Slazengers dominated in the mid field however, despite this, they were unable to find the finishing touch. The men's 4th team pulled off a great escape in the last minute of time, scoring to take the 3 points. Slaz worked hard in a well contested battle. Slazenger Ladies 3rd’s hockey team were back to winning form for their first home game of the year. Slazengers were playing Tadcaster Magnets and took charge of the game from the off.
