Slazengers ladies 3's faced tough opposition when they travelled to Sheffield Bankers on Saturday. Slazengers had a good first 20 minutes managing to hold their opponents to 1 goal lead. Sheffield Bankers passed the ball well and at half time Slaz were down 3-0. The 11 strong team were visibly exhausted and haribo were shared. The game started at a strong tempo, and Slazengers quickly recognised that they were to be in for a hard afternoon’s work against a well drilled University side. Top of the league Bankers scored four times in the first half.
