Slaz started off sluggish, looking outpaced by the visitors to begin with. However, as the game progressed, the team picked up speed and contested strongly against a well organised and well drilled Leeds team. Slazenger Men’s 2nd Team travelled to Leeds Adel Carnegie and won 4-0. Although the final score looked impressive the match started out quite even and slaz didn’t score until the start of the second half. The first half did see slaz with most of the possession and creating most of the chances but slaz keeper Giles field did have make a couple of saves to keep the scores level, although the Adel keeper did have to make a lot more to keep his side level. Slaz mens 3's had two league games this weekend. The first of these was against Hull University, where the team were unlucky to come away with a loss. The team pressed from the off, with some fast passing putting the team well inside the teams half within seconds. Unfortunately the team were unable to convert. Slazenger's acquitted themselves well in this top of the table clash against high flying Doncaster. Both sides were disciplined, contained some skillful players and managed to keep their shape, working hard in both attack and defence.
