Slazenger mens 1st's continued their run of success eventually coming out top against local rivals Wakefield 3rd's. Slaz had an early start away to Wakefield, but some strong passing play across the pitch and attacking down the wings ensured that it wasn't a wasted trip. Slazenger mens 2nds had a tough home encounter with Barnsley 1st's, though were unfortunately run out 4-0. The scoreline does not entirely reflect the game, as for large stretches of the match, Slaz looked to be in control of the game. A series of defensive slips in the first 20 minutes allowed Barnsley to capitalise and net 2. Slazenger mens 3rds continued their winning run with a victory from a bloody encounter away to Rotherhams 4th team. While the win was secured with a 2-0 margin, the team took their time to secure both the opener. After a week off due to the recent cold weather Slazenger 4's quickly got back into the groove against strong opponents Rotherham 5's.
