For the second weekend in a row Slazengers had 2 games. The game started in a cold, wet and rainy Hull but Slazengers went out hard and had most of the possession and control. The mens 1st team had a tough encounter with high flying Lindum 2nds, a strong physical team with a good run of form. Slaz started well brightly, with some good passing play and high pressing. However, Lindum defended well, and the game was well balanced for the first 20 minutes. Slazengers mens 2nd team travelled to Acomb 1's on Saturday and went down 2-0 to a strong Acomb side. Acomb were very well organised and passed the ball round well meaning Slazengers found themselves chasing the game for long periods. Acomb went 1-0 up midway through the first half and although Slazengers created some chances, struggled to work the Acomb keeper. Slaz finally had a home game and entertained an experienced Sheffield Hallam side. With captain Danny Croxall sidelined due to injury and acting as coach, the slaz side had a higher amount of experience this week. With both teams at the top side of the league it was going to be a tough game. Both teams went out hard and at half time there was no score despite Slazengers having chances. After half time Slazengers managed to break through and a goal from Naomi Frith started things going. Unfortunately Slazengers were unable to hold the lead and Huddersfield went on to score 5 goals.
