Slazengers Ladies 1's started well from the first whistle this week. Despite playing the strong Boston Spa side, the Horbury team were undeterred. Within the first 5 minutes Slazengers were forcing the errors and for the majority of the first half, all the action was in the home sides attacking circle. After going 4 games without a win, Slazengers were relieved to find 3 points again after running out 4-2 winners at home to University of Leeds mens 2's. Arriving at a windy cold Leeds with 11 players to their 16 it looked like it was going to be a challenge. Slazengers went out hard as always but the first 10 minutes saw Leeds looking like the stronger team. Slazengers settled into their game and then took control.
