On Saturday 13th October a long drive to Hull eventually brought the reward of a match well played and won. The game set off at a fast pace with both teams looking to gain the edge, both teams pressured the ball well in the opposition half. Slazenger Men's 3rd's travelled to away to Sheffield for their third game of the season. The team were expecting a tough encounter and were not disappointed, however after a steady start, they emerged 3-1 victors, keeping them top of the table for the third week. The men's 4's showed great composure and control, after going 1-0 down to bring the result back to a draw. Slaz played well and made some good passing moves in the midfield, showing marked improvement since the beginning of the season.
