This was an important clash with both teams keen to get enough points to clear the relegation points fight near the end of the season. Slazengers 3's latest game was a home fixture against local rivals Garforth. In recent seasons these matches have been tough encounters against evenly matched sides. However, Garforth only had eight players and were up against it before the match had even started. Slazengers mens 2nd team produced a stunning second half fightback to stun league leaders Lincoln Roses mens 3's, eventually running out 6-4 winners. Lincoln were the stonger of the two teams early on and took a deserved lead only for Slazengers to up their game and equalise through Jake Barras.
