Slazenger fifths took another step towards Division Nine Championship glory with a 5-0 win over Huddersfield Sevenths. Playing some super hockey, Slazenger were alwats in command with man of the match Keith Hellam maintaining his fine forme with a hat-trick. The impressive Haydn Foster also weighed in with a brace, while keeper Jim Heller made some great saves to keep a clean sheet. Slazenger thirds returned to winning ways with a 4-1 success over Bradford's third string. Two excellent goals from Paul Wiper gave Slazenger a 2-1 half-time lead. Slazenger seconds recorded a fine 4-1 victory over Doncaster fourths. A superb strike from man of the match Mark Swinden set the standard.
