An outstanding performance from Slazenger third's front line gained them a convincing win over York. Man of the match Richard Whawell led the way with two superb scoring strikes. Ten-man Slazenger thirds worked their socks off to come back from behind three times and secure a 3-3 Yorkshire League 6 draw with hosts Brigg thirds. Slazenger Thirds lost 2-1 to Normanby Park seconds in a game they dominated overall. However, a failure to convert their chances cost the home side dearly.
