Slazengers mens 2nd team travelled to Hull 3's on Saturday looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season and did just that, coming away with a well deserved 4-1 victory down mainly to a strong 2nd half performance. Slazengers mens 2nd team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-3 draw at home to Leeds Gryphons but in reality were lucky to get anything out of the game. Leeds came with a large squad and their extra legs paid off with Slazengers continually getting overrun in the midfield however some hard defending and good work kept Leeds out. Slazengers mens second team travelled to Sheffield Hallam 5's on Saturday looking to record their first win of the new season and did so in style, coming away with a 7-3 victory. Slazengers were quick off the mark and took the lead inside a couple of minutes, Jake Barras with a reverse stick strike following good work from Robin Whawell.
