Slazenger Seconds were just edged out of a ding-dong derby with West Yorkshire rivals Bradford seconds 3-2. Bradford nosed ahead, but outstanding midfield play by Jonny White got the home side back on track and Jonathan Halliday converted a well-worked short corner to level before the break. Slazenger seconds took charge in this game from the fifth minute when Asad Baig finished off a well-worked move with the opening goal. Midway through the half Richard Whawell doubled the tally after terrific work by Foster in midfield.
