Report: 11-03-2010 – Ladies 1st’s (0) v (4) Leeds Uni – ‘The Dastardly Plan’

Thursday 11th March saw I think our first ever that I can remember anyway, evening league game which was rearranged. Leeds Uni have now broken the stalemate and sit comfortably at the top of our division and deservedly so with their style of fast flowing and direct play. However, we had a 'Dastardly Plan'! Hockey Ball Throwing Machine now arrived

Slazenger HC have been very fortunate through the aid of recent sponsorships to be able to purchase the very latest state of the art ball machine used by International and National League teams throughout the World. This will allow for superb training for all in particular goalkeeping and shooting exercises. Every reason to attend training and take part using this brilliant machine. Ladies 1sts Club ‘Sit In’

Fun and frolicks will be had this coming Saturday 30th Jan after the Home Fixture against Wakefield. Even if we get more of on the left we will add to the afternoon/evening a Snowman building competition so be there for 3pm in the unlikely event the game is cancelled. Darts & Pool Killer Competition International Golf Competition Quizzes and just maybe some drinking games....!
