After only playing one game in 3 weeks and having no training Slazengers started slowly allowing Pudsey to get a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes, one of the goals being scored after a penalty flick was given after the ball was stopped on the line with a foot. After having a week off Slazengers were ready for a battle. The game was a fairly even match but it was the Dragons who scored first. Slazengers battled on and equalised before half time from an open play goal from Claire Dunstan. Dragons had a number of short corners but failed to score but they then sneaked another goal from open play. Slazengers then scored the equaliser from a short corner goal from Stacey Drake. Slazengers ladies 3s continued with their strong start to the new year with a 1 - 0 home victory over Chapeltown 2s. Despite losing by the same goal margin earlier in the year Slazenger's looked the stronger of the two sides.
