After only playing one game in 3 weeks and having no training Slazengers started slowly allowing Pudsey to get a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes, one of the goals being scored after a penalty flick was given after the ball was stopped on the line with a foot.
Slazengers began the turn around pulling a goal back before half time from Claire Dunstan. After half time Pudsey didn’t have much attacking play and Slazengers scored again after Sue Hope hit a high ball the keeper saved it and then Naomi Horsley collected the rebound and sent it in.
Claire Dunstan had a second goal taken from her when the umpire said it didn’t cross the line so the game finished 2 all. Man of the match went to Charlotte Gunn.
